Make your Palm speak English with LingvoSoft English <-> Japanese (Kana) Talking Bidirectional Dictionary! Just select any English word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is based on a new approach to speech synthesis, i.e. formant synthesis, which creates a human voice simulation by modeling the sounds of a natural language.

While the LingvoSoft Talking Dictionary English <-> Japanese (Kana) for Palm OS is an entirely new dictionary in this series, improvements have been made to the application which include enhanced support for Tungsten T5 and Treo 600/650 devices, superior design and updated interfaces. To save some bother for users of certain Palm devices, we have made the application to be executable from the Internal Card. A Katakana/Hiragana keyboard has also been included.
