Ms. Rich breathes life into every page she writes. I think I will demand the publisher and Ms. Rich give me the recipe for Granny Jo's dried apple pie--the descriptions of it made my mouth water. Ms. Rich's last book, COURTING KATE, is a favorite of mine--as are all her books--but MOUNTAIN MAGIC has the same endearing qualities of family, love, and honor. I know you have to wait until September, but as soon as you can, grab this book, and put it on top of your TBR pile. It is a keeper, complete with a full dose of warm fuzzies.
